Environmental Studies

The growth of jobs in the environmental field is driven by public policy, which compels companies and organizations to meet environmental laws and regulations. Understanding the issues involved in protecting the environment such as degradation, conservation, recycling, and replenishment-are central to the work of people in the environmental field.

Please Note: The Environmental Studies A.S. program is no longer accepting new students and will be discontinued after Spring 2019.   Current students will be able to complete the program since no courses are changing or being dropped.  Students interested in Environmental Studies are encouraged to join the Environmental Biology concentration under the Liberal Arts and Science: Natural Sciences, AS degree.
