Student Rights and Responsibilities Handbook

Over the past several years, State and Federal governments have stressed the importance of assuring that all members of college communities are aware of the wealth of information that is available to them on important subjects. These subjects include, but are not limited to:

  • Nondiscrimination Policies
  • Plagiarism/Cheating Policies
  • Alcohol and Drug Abuse Policies and Information
  • Policy on Sexual Harassment and Avoiding Sexual Assault
  • Grievance Procedures Related to Discrimination
  • Campus Crime Reporting such as the Clery Act and Megan's Law
  • Student Code of Conduct 126 KB
  • Equity in Athletics Disclosure Act Reports
  • Tuition and Refund Policies
  • Financial Assistance and Graduation Rate Information
  • Family Education Rights and Privacy Act Information
  • Refund and Withdrawal Policies

All colleges are required to provide this information. At Genesee, we have chosen to assemble all this information in the Student Rights and Responsibilities Handbook 315 KB.
