Virtual Tour
Nature Trail
Genesee Community College's Nature Trail forms a short loop in the southwestern woodlands of the College's Batavia Campus. There are more than 20 nature markings located along the trail giving visitors of all ages and interests an introduction to the natural beauty and resources located on campus.
A Nature Trail Guide is available in a box at the trail or at the Information Desk. You can use this guide along your walk to learn about the College's ecological assets - from Maple trees to Maidenhair Ferns, American Beeches to Blue Birds.
The Nature Trail is free, open to the public from dawn to dusk, and has but one rule: please leave no trace of your visit by carrying out whatever items you carry in.
