Technical Specialist / Institutional Information Specialist

The Institutional Information Specialist will act as liaison between the offices of Assessment and Institutional Research and the other areas of the campus, assist in review and management of assessment plans and aid in the analysis and dissemination of institutional research information and reports.     

The successful candidate must be a logical thinker with a high level of attention to detail and must possess a Bachelor’s degree; a Master’s degree is preferred.  Knowledge of standard statistical processes, a general understanding of assessment methods, experience in creating informational reports using MS Access, SPSS or similar software and ability to explain data to non-technical audiences is required.  Experience working in a higher education environment and with SunGard Banner student is preferred.
