Director of the Nursing Program

Genesee Community College has opened the search for a proven leader to serve as Director of the Nursing Program.  The Director is responsible for the overall management and continued accreditation of a successful and growing program, ensuring high quality instruction through evaluation and development of all nursing curricula and maintaining relationships and administering agreements with clinical affiliations and other community agencies.

A Master’s degree which includes preparation for nursing education, current registration or eligibility for registration as a registered nurse in NYS; a minimum of three years of teaching experience and one year or more of staff supervisory experience in a clinical or educational setting is required.  The ideal candidate will demonstrate good leadership and communications skills and possess a strong belief in and support for ADN programs in the U.S. healthcare system.
