Environmental Health and Safety Specialist/Technical Specialist

Environmental Health and Safety Specialist/Technical Specialist is responsible for developing, maintaining and updating EHS programs, policies and procedures and providing appropriate training and internal auditing to ensure compliance with all regulations relating to the Health and Safety of employees and students throughout the college

A Bachelor’s Degree in Safety or Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Engineering/Science or related field and a minimum of two years experience in Environmental Health and Safety or related area is required.  Excellent verbal and written communications skills and the ability to conduct training programs related to EHS required.  Certified Safety Professional, Certified Hazardous Materials Manager and/or Certified Industrial Hygiene certification strongly preferred.
