Instructor of Nursing

Genesee Community College has opened the search for Instructor of Nursing (two positions) to instruct in all phases of a two-year Nursing Program including team teaching assignments.  Contribute to the development, review, assessment, and maintenance of a quality nursing curriculum.  Master’s degree in Nursing required with a concentration in one of the following: Adult Health /Medical-Surgical, Psychiatric/Mental Health, Maternal-Child Health or Nursing Education including basic education courses.  A minimum of two years of nursing practice, preferably as a staff nurse is essential.  Some college teaching experience is preferred. 
The ideal candidate will possess a passion for teaching and learning, a sense of humor, a positive attitude and a willingness to embrace technology.  This person will strive to create and maintain personal connections with students and the college community.  (S)he must be a friendly, enthusiastic team player with a strong work ethic who contributes to Genesee’s supportive community, dedicated to effective innovative strategies for student success.
