Instructor of Sociology and Human Services

Master’s Degree in Sociology, previous experience teaching sociology at the undergraduate level required; experience teaching at the community college level with teaching experience in human services courses preferred.  A minimum of three years working in an area of human services is required.  Experience with learning communities and/or service learning is desirable.

Ideal candidates will possess a passion for teaching and learning, a sense of humor, a positive attitude and a willingness to embrace technology.  This person will strive to create and maintain personal connections with students and the college community.  (S)he must be a friendly, enthusiastic team player with a strong work ethic who contributes to Genesee’s supportive community, dedicated to effective innovative strategies for student success.
