Welcome to Genesee!
You’ll find some cool things to do here. Genesee Community College at Arcade offers a wide range of high quality college credit courses that will help you get where you want to go. Popular majors with many job opportunities include Criminal Justice, Human Services, Business, and Teacher Education. Genesee offers over 50 academic programs. Of those, there are 35 degree programs and 14 certificate programs for which 50% or more may be completed at a campus center. You can easily earn a Genesee Community College degree at a location that is convenient to you.
In addition to quality education, we offer students great customer service at a price that saves you money. Students often have questions about their academic careers, how to complete a task, or find a job. Our students are busy active people who encounter a myriad of challenges in balancing their college lives with their work and personal lives. They come to our staff seeking ways to fit everything together. We’re here to help with that and much more. Academic advising helps students explore careers and plan their programs. Small class size is another feature that helps students succeed at Genesee Community College at Arcade. For students who plan to transfer eventually, Genesee Community College credit is a high quality bargain. We help students with transfer plans too.
College life involves communicating, working in groups, and problem solving. We help students build those skills in addition to the content learned in courses. Why? Because successfully managing life also involves those three skills. The other interesting reason is that both nationally and locally, employers will tell you that those are three of the skills they value most as well. Genesee students multitask by building life and career skills at the same time.
