Home to the famed Cougars, Genesee's Anthony T. Zambito Gymnasium houses fast-moving intercollegiate contests in basketball, volleyball, and more. Whether you're part of a team, or attend games as a spectator, you'll soon see why the Genesee Cougars have been recognized on the district, regional, and national level. The gymnasium is also home to many of Genesee's intramural sports activities, serving hundreds of students annually. And it's also the scene of community athletic invitational events.

Encompassing the central section of the A building, the gymnasium is named in honor of Anthony T. Zambito, one of Genesee's founders and a beloved trustee for over 30 years. Mr. Zambito, whose career included service in the World War II Manhattan Project, farming, the securities industry, and leadership training, took an active interest in Genesee's athletic programs. Several generations of players knew Tony, who loved attending athletic competitions and who often traveled with the Cougars to distant competitions.

You name the water event - Genesee swim team practice, open swimming, scuba classes, or community events - and you'll find it at the Batavia Campus pool. Ideal for casual and competitive swimmers, the pool can accommodate up to 100 users and has a maximum depth of twelve feet.
